HERE MAPS INTERNSHIP

INTRODUCTION

I am vasanth pursuing btech 3rd year in bennett university. University had provided me this virtual intern opportunity for a span of 2 months, which made me involved in some kind of work for some decent time in a day. Many of us use google maps to locate places and route maps. This is mostly used in Western parts of the world to locate places and maps. We have been taught about their software and were assigned tasks having targets to be completed.

USES, FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES

HERE guides lets the client download high caliber and precise guides on the gadget. It can work even in disconnected mode so the client can depend on this totally most assuredly. Customary updates improve route since the client can locate the most brief course to arrive at their goal without depending on their memory. HERE guide is an ideal ally for any individual who wants to go to new goals without knowing any courses.

Above figure shows the detailed pictures of the area which we wanted to locate, we can get the information of all the eminent land marks in the area. Roads can be distinguished by the color (normal roads, highways). Map creator makes updating maps simpler, and regularly updating maps is key to accuracy.

To add or edit places, the zoom level should be more than 18. Roads can be added or edited on zoom level 16 or above. Images will be very accurate.

For different countries road colors are different as there is much difference in the roads compared to India and foreign countries. We can find difference in the Line styles.

EXPERIENCE

I have done good number of interns in my past years where all of them are offline. This is my first online intern experience, which is great. I have given good time to do this and it helped me to get over the time quickly as its the Covid situation now.

I thank Bennett University for giving me this opportunity to work in here technologies. They are ready to carry us ahead into their institution. Its of course the mentor under whom you work. Lastly, Iwould thank Mudrika Shakdwipee for making us achieve good in the field work which we have done.
